Our client a leading AV Technology provider. Due to the continued success year on year of the business are seeking to recruit a Project Coordinator with the drive and enthusiasm to succeed in this challenging role The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role experience 

As a central point of contact for the Project Management Office (PMO), this role will be critical to ensuring effectiveness of the PMO by providing strong administrative support to the team. They will be responsible for ensuring that project installation and handover to support are conducted appropriately.  The Project Coordinator will work closely with the PMO and many cross functional teams to help ensure seamless implementation of existing and new projects, including change.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Director of Fulfilment and Project Team to ensure the smooth running and maintenance of the project office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing project packs that include A2 drawings, project briefs, project sign off and asset registers
  • Data entry onto in-house software platforms (NetSuite/Excel)
  • Reviewing project activities for compliance with procedures, standards, and archiving data regularly
  • Work closely with the Project team offering back office support and administrative duties
  • Provide time management co-ordination for engineering team
  • Tracking and uploading of documentation to the companies’ storage application
  • Weekly tracking and updating of project progress
  • Produces consolidated highlight reporting for the Project Managers, including milestone summary, key issues, risks, benefits, summary of costs incurred
  • Establishes standards, tools and procedures for use on the project, including issue, risk, change and information management
  • Creation of access permits to client specific requirements on P2W (Permit to work)
  • Assists with the production of user documentation
  • Reviews project activities for compliance with procedures and standards
  • Assignment of projects across PMO
  • Stays current with the Project Office and Company policies and goals and works to make sure that all members of the project team adhere to set standards
  • Stays familiar with companies’ policies and goals and works to make sure that all members of a project team adhere to set standards.

Key Skills, Experience and Knowledge

  • Have strong proven administration skills
  • Be proficient in their use of Microsoft Office
  • Previously worked as a Project Administrator or co-ordinator/Construction Administrator (an advantage)
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Communication skills at all levels and with all disciplines
  • Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute
  • A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexible
  • Resource and time management experience
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment
  • Highly organised demonstrating an eye for detail

Ideally have a background in Audio Visual industry
