                                                                                     ASSISTANT CONTRACTS MANAGER 

Reading                                                                                                                                                                                            salary circa £34,000 
Our client specialise in the refurbishment and fitting out of commercial and industrial property. They give advice and guidance on all aspects of interior fit out. Due to the continued success of the business they are seeking to recruit an Assistant Contracts Manager with experience in Commercial Interiors. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Commercial Interiors refurbishment and traditional Design and Build Contracts. Could suit an ambitious site manager looking to make the next step into contracts management.

                                                  
The Role:

        .     Practical background – on site fabric works e.g Carpenter, Partition Fixer or similar

  • Have Experience within the commercial interior sector
  • Be an excellent communicator
  • Work well within a team within the office and on-site
  • Supervise sub-contractor activity on site, ensuring contractual obligations are met, potential savings are identified and reported upon & all works are delivered safely within the relevant timeframe
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and sub-contractors
  • Able to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to exceed customer expectations
  • Commercially aware
  • Have effective people management skills
  • Have good knowledge of Construction Contracts
  • Ability to program works using their own knowledge of the construction process
  • Have ambition to progress

             Candidate desired skills-     SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS
